Shell in the sand of San Lorenzo, Gijón, March 2011. Normal could be mistaken for Dosinia exoleta , but this species has three cardinal teeth in both valves, as well as within mantle width, depth and balance in the form of U of Mysia not have any species of Veneridae of our environment . Surface contour and also similar, but not within mantle are Diplodonta rotundata, Lucinoma borealis and Loripes lucinalis .
